The meaning behind the name

Lux - Latin for light.

Noire - French for dark

We take two seemingly contradictory elements, light and darkness, and create beautiful imagery using those elements. So it only made sense to create a name that reflects that paradox.

The X is silent. Pronounced “Loo-Noire.” However, we kept the X as call back to the word “paradox” so we can always be reminded that the name Luxnoire Films is packed with meaning, a story, and creativity. Just like what Luxnoire can deliver for you.
